I’m Julian Cardona, the founder of Lovebound Pet Care. Lovebound was born from something that has always come naturally to me. A deep love for animals and the bond they share with the people who love them.

I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I believe every dog deserves more than just a walk. They deserve patience, affection, attention, and genuine companionship.

My approach is simple: treat every dog like they’re part of the family. Whether we’re out for a walk, spending time together in your home, or enjoying a weekend adventure, I focus on making every visit safe, positive, and comfortable.

Your dog isn’t just another appointment on my schedule. I take the time to understand their personality, routines, and individual needs so they feel happy, secure, and cared for while you’re away.

Why Lovebound?

Lovebound was inspired by a love for animals that started when I was young. One of the movies that stayed with me growing up was Homeward Bound. A story about the incredible bond between people and their animals. That feeling stuck with me.

As I grew older, that love turned into something I could share with the dogs around me. I began caring for the dogs of friends, neighbors, and families who trusted me with their pets. Over time, I realized that caring for dogs wasn’t simply something I enjoyed, it was something I genuinely valued.

That’s where Lovebound Pet Care comes from a lifelong love for animals and the bond we share with them.

More than a walk.

When I’m caring for your dog, I believe they deserve more than simply being taken outside and brought home. I take the time to understand their personality, routines, body language, and individual needs.

I’m affectionate, attentive, and engaged. Whether we’re walking, exploring, playing or simply enjoying some quiet time together. I believe every dog communicates differently, and my job is to listen.

With 12+ years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of breeds, personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Including dogs weighing over 100 pounds and dogs with special needs or mobility limitations.

I’m also American Red Cross First Aid certified, so I’m prepared to respond appropriately if your dog ever needs extra care or attention while in my care.

My experience also extends beyond pet care. I’ve volunteered with Best Friends Animal Society in New York City, giving me the opportunity to further support animals in need.

To me, dogs aren’t appointments on a schedule. They’re family. And I treat them that way.
